Ela Jae prides itself on ensuring that we do all we can to maximize the lifespan of every product we produce. By utilizing gold vermeil in lieu of gold plated, Ela Jae has increased the value, the longevity and of course the overall quality of our products. Since we know that equestrians are regularly in environments that are not typically jewelry friendly, gold vermeil was the clear winner in elongating the life of our pieces. The combination of our sterling silver core blanketed in gold vermeil, makes every piece less susceptible to tarnishing and overall, more durable.
To support the lifespan of your piece, Ela Jae highly recommends that every client follow some basic tips to keep your piece as lovely as the day you purchased it. Before you head to the barn, put your jewelry on last. Lotions, soaps, perfumes, etc. can have a negative reaction with metals. Dry jewelry is happy jewelry! If you find that your amulet got wet or exposed to heavy moisture, be sure to set aside and let it dry completely. We also recommend that when traveling from show to show, place your piece in our complimentary velvet pouch to keep it from getting scratched. Finally, clean with microfiber when needed, warm water and non-chemical soap.
Ela Jae believes in the products we produce and wants every customer to be happy with their purchases.
