Sizing Guide

At Ela Jae, every piece is designed to feel as beautiful as it looks. To ensure your jewelry fits flawlessly, use our simple guide below to measure your necklace, bracelet, and ring sizes at home.

Ring Size Guide

Getting your ring size right ensures both comfort and security — your ring should glide over your knuckle but not slip off easily.

How to Measure:

  1. Use a piece of string or a strip of paper about ¼ inch wide.

  2. Wrap it around the base of your finger and mark where it overlaps.

  3. Measure the length in millimetres and use our conversion chart below.

Ring Size Chart (U.S.):

  • Size 5: 15.6 mm

  • Size 6: 16 mm

  • Size 7: 16.5 mm

  • Size 8: 16.9 mm

  • Size 9: 17.3 mm

Tips for Accuracy:

  • Measure at the end of the day when fingers are slightly larger.

  • Avoid measuring when your hands are cold, as this can make them smaller.

  • If between sizes, go up to the nearest half size.

Bracelet Size Guide

Your bracelet should fit comfortably — snug enough to stay in place but loose enough to move freely.

How to Measure:

  1. Wrap a flexible measuring tape or string around your wrist just above the wrist bone.

  2. Mark where it meets and measure that length.

  3. Add the following for your preferred fit:

    • Snug fit: Add ¼ inch (0.6 cm)

    • Comfort fit: Add ½ inch (1.3 cm)

    • Loose fit: Add ¾ inch (1.9 cm)

Bracelet Size Chart:

  • Small: 6–6.5 inches

  • Medium: 6.5–7 inches

  • Large: 7–7.5 inches

  • Extra Large: 7.5–8 inches

Tip: For chain bracelets or bangles, always round up to the nearest half inch for ease of movement.

Necklace Size Guide

Finding the right necklace length helps you achieve the perfect layered look or a classic everyday style.

How to Measure:

  1. Use a soft measuring tape or a piece of string.

  2. Wrap it around your neck where you’d like the necklace to sit.

  3. Note the length and compare to our guide below.

Necklace Length Chart:

  • 14” – Fits closely around the neck like a choker.

  • 16” – Rests just above the collarbone; ideal for petite frames or layering.

  • 18” – The classic length that falls at the collarbone.

  • 20” – Sits just below the collarbone for a slightly longer drape.

  • 22”–24” – A statement length that pairs beautifully with higher necklines.

Tip: For a layered look, mix lengths 2 inches apart (e.g., 16”, 18”, and 20”).
